What spurred on this post, u may ask? Well, the extent of how far and wide the 'Whale Tail Phenomenon's spread most certainly did. Some random browsing and snooping around the internet led me to an article entitled, "America's 'Droopy Drawers' Law Dropped" which I'm sure would have captured your attention as well. (it certainly got mine.)

The thong or G-string as known in some parts of the world is becoming one of the biggest 'must have' fashion items for women. What started as a fashion statement soon turned into a trend by the likes of Britney Spears. The 'Whale Tail' as we now fondly call it has fast revolutionized the fashion world.
Hipster jeans have had a large impact with creating the very fashionable 'whale tails', as the waist band got lower and lower to show more midriff it was harder to hide the lines of a thong. So why not use it as a fashion piece.
Where does the fashion go now? How far will the Whale tail get out of the trousers and into the visible world, at present some companies even decorating the back of thongs with jewelry and designs, making them sit higher than ever before so the whale tail is very distinct and in view for all to see a very sexual eye candy for us guys!
This is one whale tail i'd love to feast my eyes on. Heh.
