I havent had the chance to blog much about man utd in recent times so what better way to kick start it all again with us being crowned Carling Cup Champions! It may just be a Mickey Mouse Trophy as Fergie once put but ow well at times like these, any trophy counts! Oh and with news coming in of the new sponsorship deal, all's well again in the Theatre of Dreams.

Despite the takeover, despite the lack of Trophies, despite the "Powershift", despite half the crowd having to travel the length of the country to watch the team, despite our mentally ill manager, despite Fletcher, despite our shite scouts, despite Fergie's tactically inept assistant manager, despite whatever fucking else. We're still the biggest draw card in Europe.

Getting down to the game itself, i must say all 4 goals we're pretty decent with clinical finishing on all em goals but for Saha's where he bundled the ball in on his 2nd attempt, nearly making a mess outta it all and stuffing it up! But yeah 4 -0! So that hardly matters now does it? Haha. Ive got no idea why Ruud was on the bench and on why he wasnt even given a taste of the action after we were 4-0 up. Rumours mongers have been having a field day with most claiming a bust up between Ruud and Fergie. I aint having none of that tho. Ive got a feeling it was merely a tactical decision and one that paid off.

We're a totally different team when Saha plays, when compared to when Ruud plays. I love the pace Saha brings to the game. Ruuds holding up skills are definitely second to no one on the face of this earth! It was nice to see Neville holding up his first trophy as club captain, with many more to come for sure in the coming years. It was also nice to see the entire team sporting tee shirts in tribute to Alan Smith who had the horrific injury a week ago. That was pure class! Now for 1 final charge for the premier league!
