United 3 : 2 Celtic

Awesome in attack but shit poor in defense. We were indeed lucky to walk out of the game with all 3 points. Rio was absolute shit in defense till Celtic scored the first goal and then he somehow woke up. Lets not even get started with Wes Brown, wtf was he playing at today? He could hardly get out of his own way and do anything right all game long and he just had to give the free kick up for Celtic's 2nd goal. I just cant wait for Vidic to get back into the starting lineup now that he's managed to make the bench against Celtic.

We were rock solid in midfield tonight with Scholesly and Carrick playing their parts. The 19 million might just pay off in the long run.

Rooney had one of his off nights, cant really blame him all that much tho, its only his 2nd competitive match since the portugal game in the world cup. He'll be back on top form against d gooners tho, im sure of it. Saha..what a fucking legend! I can't speak highly enough of him after that performance. He was all over the fucking place, twisting, turning, making really smart runs and he clearly showed what we lacked up front with Ruud. Pure class. I dont think we'd have managed to climb our way back and win the game with Ruud up front. Ole played really well once again and grabbed his first champions league goal in a while.

Im absolutely gutted by Giggs's injury especially with him on such fine form. Well, anyhow, another Giggsy injury and yeah you guessed it...his hamstring once again. So he's gonna be out for a month and Parks going to be out for 3 fuckin months with ankle ligament damage. The injuries have started to come in and i can only hope we dont get any other serious knocks in the weeks ahead. All in all, im really pleased with the result, its nice to have scored as many goals as we did in last year's competition, we can only get better. Heh. Bring on the goons!
