There's a whole lot more to his sending off against Spurs last weekend. Rumours are spreading thick and fast that that the England captain allegedly made a racial remark (Shut up you lippy black monkey) to Ledley King prior to his sending off. The news has apparently been leaked out by a Spurs player with Chelski trying their best to cover it all up. It really does explain a whole lot of things regarding the scenes we saw at the lane both before and after the sending off. Watch the video again before you read on.

Now that you've watched the clip and with the racial slur in mind, the following incidents really do make sense:

1) Ledley King going mad when he usually is mild tempered especially with such 'harmless' incidents. Clearly no reason for him to be mad over a shove.

4) Why Drogba and Essien who usually are the first to get involved in such incidents and defend their teammates did nothing of the sort and just tried to restrain Chimbonda and Zakora and were immediately apologetic to the 2.

5) Why Terry calmy walked away expecting to be sent off for nothing which appeared to be more than a light shove.

6) Towards the end of clip, you see Shaun Wright Phillips questioning Terry as he walked off but Terry did not respond.

Other points to note are that Terry has also recently been accused of passing racial slurs by Samuel Eto of Barcelona earlier in the year and Rio Ferdinand has also mentioned that an England colleague of his is a known racist in his book. Wonder who he meant?

Ashley Cole has come out and said that Graham Poll told him the lack of discipline by Chelsea was out of order and Chelski are tryin to discredit Poll. but he cannot possibly come out and say what Terry did as he in the England captain, preferring to say he was sent off for 'ungentlemanly conduct.' All the evidence clearly supports this 'rumour' and it is highly likely that it is indeed a whole lot more than just a rumour.
