I certainly was'nt expecting another 4-0 whipping against Wigan, im quite satisfied with the 2-1 victory. There was certainly luck involved in the 2nd goal, but then again it had to come! Surprising stat at the end of the day. Apparently all we had was 1 shot on target, and we scored twice! Heh. A victory, a victory nonetheless. From what ive read on soccernet, we were totally outplayed in the first half by Wigan and the highlights show it all i suppose. Very slack defending. Schoolboy errors in the centre of midfield. Giving the ball away too cheaply. Ahh, same old, same old. We're now 2 points ahead of the scousers with a game in hand. 2nd place is well and firmly ours for sure.

Anyhow, i sure am looking forward to Chelski getting their asses raped against the might of Barca in the the champs league!
