It sure was'nt a vintage performance, especially after we fell behind thanks to some sloppy defending in just the 2nd minute of the game. We however fought on and recovered well enough to retain the lion's share of possesion and capped off our dominance with 2 goals, from Rooney and an O'Shea header. The interplay between Ruud, Rooney, Scholes and Park was excellent. It still baffles me how Fletcher still gets the nod ahead of Ronaldo. We were scintillating in the 2nd half which was tribute enough to George Best.

Can anyone even begin to fathom how much of a fucking legend the 14 yr old boy who got to tap that ass is amongst his classmates now? Especially with all the publicity this case is getting.

I'm just wondering about the conversation he had to have with his parents. Mum crying on the sofa about her little boy being violated like that while dad runs celebratory laps around the house, arms outstretched, returning inside only to whisper a quiet "Well done, son" as mum goes to reach for the cooking pan.
